Common Washing Machine Faults

Won’t Start

We have a guide on the common issues for when a washing machine won’t start but there are numerous faults which could cause this from no power going through to the machine to a faulty sensor.

Won’t Spin

If your appliance, such as a Bosch washing machine, won’t spin, check to see if there’s an unbalanced load inside the appliance and if it’s level on the surface.

Not Filling With Water

If your washing machine isn’t filling with water the issue could be with the hoses, filters, or even the pressure chamber. This is something that would require troubleshooting by an engineer.

Won’t Drain

Regularly check to see if the filters are clean. Usually, they can be found on the bottom of the appliance.

Gary checked out the oven and identified the fault. He also very sweetly hoovered up behind the oven for me as it hadn't been moved for years! Unfortunately the part is no longer available but he made the cooker safe enough to use the hob. Very polite and helpful and I would recommend. His communication was very quick after I made the enquiry and he kept me well informed about when he would come.

He was absolutely amazing, very efficient and had all the part on the van very helpful and polite.

Excellent service and quick to reply and come round. Had to come over again as dishwasher needed parts but arrived in the morning and quicky completed the job. He even cleaned my floor!
